For those of you who may have heard about the tornado that hit Mena, AR, this morning, just wanted to post that it was only about 45-50 air miles from our RV pad. We go through Mena often (whenever we take Hwy. 71 South), but don't know anyone there.
We've decided to leave here Sunday morning with a stop at the Escapees Park in Livingston, Texas, for a couple of nights as we head back to Arklahoma. Had originally planned to stay at the beach until the 15th, but with Roger's mom's frequent doctors' appointments we decided it was time for us to go take our turn taking her.
I'll try to get another update posted before we get on the road, but this MAY be our last post until we get back and settled.
